A very disappointing month photographically. A combination of dull, foggy weather, car breakdowns, and equipment malfunctions meant I only got one decent photo all month!

Rock Ptarmigan (Lagopus mutus)

It was unseasonably warm on the top of Cairngorm (about 2°C) with no wind and almost no snow. Felt almost like spring!

Well, that's it for 2006. I've currently got plans for trips to Belize and the Canary Islands in the coming year, so there should be plenty of new images to look forward to. I hope you all have a great 2007!
